AKJ! You are indeed a GOOD MAN, generous, kind, open, ever forgiving and you managed to put a smile on everyone's face.
You shared your family home "Flat D701, 1004" with all us in our days as Cadets in the Academy and continued to do so with folks in the NAVY as young officers.
Its amazing how you managed to have a special relationship with every one you came accross. Amongst other memorable contributions you made to my life; I remember that it was only you who went with me to my father in-law at short notice to ask for my wife's hand in marriage. And displayed an amazing amount of wisdom during that visit.
I still gasp with disbelief that I won't set my eyes on you again.
So long my friend!
It is truly sad that this should happen in the least expected cirmcumstances. From what I gather Kola has spent a large part of the past 10 years at 'Hot spots' assisting fellow West Africans in achieving peace. He returned home only recently to at last enjoy a few short sweet months of family life ...now this. He's gone! May God give his wife children, parents siiblings family and frieds the courage similar to that with which he lived to bear this untimely loss. May his life not be in vain. I pray for Peace Honesty and Justice in all regioms of Nigeria.
May we all have the courage to stop furhter losses in this most wasteful way.
